About Me

Hi, I’m Dr. Evan Miyakawa, and I love college basketball (and anything that can be quantified by statistics in college basketball). I graduated with my Ph.D. from Baylor in 2022, and my Bachelor's Degree in 2017 from Taylor University. You can find out more on my LinkedIn page.

My college basketball research has been featured in articles by Sports Illustrated, CBS Sports, ESPN, the AP, and others. EvanMiya.com, a college basketball advanced analytics website that provides some groundbreaking CBB analytics metrics (Bayesian Performance Rating is the best all-encompassing player value metric in college basketball), tools (such as the automated Keys to Victory for every team), and some more typical stuff (team ratings, game predictions, bracket simulations, and much more).
